    Below you will find a list of our answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive about our campervans, the booking process, our amenities, and our tours. If we haven’t covered your question, we’ll be happy to assist you with any inquiries you may have.

    How difficult is it to drive AESOP VANTOURS campervans?

    We offer campervan rentals without a driver, so you will be responsible for driving the vehicle. Driving our campervans is as easy as driving a large car. The driving position is elevated, making it even easier and more enjoyable.

    Are your campervans new?

    We have selected slightly used vans with manual transmissions that are around 5 years old with approximately 120,000 km. The interior of each campervan is brand new and was converted in 2023 with high-quality materials.

    Do I need a special driver's license to drive the campervan?

    No special driver’s license is required to drive our campervans. To rent our campervans, you need a valid Category B driver’s license.

    Is there an age limit to drive one of your campervans?

    To drive one of our campervans, you need to be between 23 and 80 years old and hold a driver’s license for at least 5 years.

    Where do I pick up and drop off the campervan?

    If you are in the Attica region (Greece) or have landed at “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport, we can bring the campervan to you at no extra charge. We will provide you with more details after your booking.
    If you are outside Attica, we can arrange delivery for an additional fee. Please read the Terms and Conditions for more information on this service.
    We also offer the “One Way/Relocation Fee” service for an additional charge. Please inform us of your needs during the booking process.

    What additional services do you offer for no extra charge?

    The rental price includes the campervan, a fully equipped kitchen, free delivery to you (within Attica), full pack insurance, cleaning fee, unlimited kilometers, first-aid kit and safety equipment, and an isofix child seat, if needed. We are very flexible with pick-up and drop-off times and will try to accommodate them based on your schedule. If you rent our campervans on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and stay in Attica, we can deliver the campervan to you on Thursday evening and pick it up from you on Monday evening at no extra charge. We want you to make the most of your holiday time!

    What additional services do you offer for an extra charge?

    We provide sheets and towels to ensure your comfort during the trip, professionally cleaned, with a small fee for you.
    If you are outside Attica, we can deliver them to you upon communication. Please read the Terms and Conditions for more information on this service.
    If desired, we can fill your refrigerator according to your preferences, combining it with easy and quick recipes so you don’t waste time. We also offer picnic experiences in idyllic locations in Greece and provide all the necessary equipment and local products for an authentic picnic experience.
    Additionally, we are here to take care of all the hassle of planning a trip. Check out our tours for inspiration.
    Extra equipment such as cushions, an exterior table, chairs, a hammock, bicycles, a bike rack, and more are available for an additional charge.

    How can I find out prices and availability for the campervan?

    You can check the availability and daily rental price of the selected campervan in the booking form. After you fill out your booking details and any additional services, we will contact you with the final cost, payment methods, and the booking completion process.

    What insurance coverage will I have?

    Your safety and travel comfort are our top priorities. That’s why we have chosen to offer full pack insurance coverage at no extra charge beyond the rental fee. Our insurance includes third-party liability coverage, damage from accidents, fire, theft, an additional driver, glass breakage, and extensive roadside assistance valid throughout Greece. For more information, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

    What does the provided insurance not cover?

    The provided insurance does not cover damages to the materials or equipment of the campervan. Additionally, it does not cover damage or loss of your personal items. If you wish to have travel insurance for yourself and your personal items before you travel, please contact us.

    Why do you require a security deposit?

    All Recreational Vehicle and vehicle rental companies require a security deposit to cover part of the possible damage from the renter, either to the vehicle or the equipment. Upon receiving your vehicle, we will ask for your credit/debit card (it does not have to be the same as the payment card) to secure a deposit of 1000 euros. Your card will not be charged. The amount will be refunded after the return if the vehicle is undamaged.

    How many days can I rent the campervans?

    The minimum rental period is 3 days during the low and middle season, and 7 days during the high season.

    How long does the orientation presentation of the campervan take?

    The orientation presentation lasts approximately 30 minutes, where we explain all the features of the campervan. Additionally, we will provide you with an orientation video with basic information about your campervan, which you can watch whenever needed during your trip.

    What should I do in case of damage/fault, orange indicator on the vehicle dashboard, or in case of an accident?

    In case of any issues, please contact us. We will guide you through the necessary steps. Depending on the circumstances, we can arrange your transfer from your location and ensure the best way for you to continue your journey.

    What should I do with the vehicle's waste/gray water?

    If you have rented it for a few days, you might not have to worry about waste management and finding authorized dumping sites. Our campervans are equipped with a large gray water tank and a composting toilet, allowing environmentally friendly waste management compared to regular chemical toilets. In any case, we will provide you with further instructions during the orientation presentation about this process.

    What does 100% electricity independence of the campervan mean?

    Our campervans are equipped with sources of electrical energy such as solar panels installed on the roof, large batteries, and an inverter. This setup allows the campervan to generate, store, and use electrical energy to power electrical devices, enabling the campervan to operate independently from the power grid. This system provides you with complete daily autonomy to charge your phones through USB ports and use electrical devices such as tablets and laptops in the outlets, making it ideal for places without easy access to electrical power. Moreover, our campervans are equipped with an hybrid heating system that provides hot water and heating, utilizing either electrical energy or fuel from the van’s tank.
    If you are at a campsite, you can connect our campervans to the campsite’s electrical network to charge the batteries while using all the electrical devices of the campervan normally.

    Can I cancel/change my reservation?

    Yes, we have a cancellation and reservation change policy. Please check our Terms and Conditions for details.

    What happens if the campervan has damage from a previous customer and cannot be delivered to us?

    We understand that accidents or damages can occur during a rental, which might render our campervans unavailable for immediate subsequent bookings. If it is practically impossible (due to damage size, lack of spare parts, etc.) to repair the issue with the van promptly, we will contact you to propose either delivering a replacement campervan of equal or greater value of your reservation without an additional charge, if available, or refunding your payment. In either case, we will do our best to ensure you do not lose your planned vacation time.

    Can I transport the campervan by ship to Greece?

    Yes, it is allowed to transport our campervans by ship to all the Greek islands after contacting us without an additional charge for insurance coverage.

    Can I travel with my pet?

    We understand that your pet is a beloved member of your family, and you want your four-legged friend to join in the adventure. Unfortunately, our campervans are not yet pet-friendly. We are working hard to create special areas for pets, so we can welcome them on your next campervan adventures.

    Do I have to stay in organized campsites?

    Wild camping is prohibited in Greece. If you don’t set up tables, open a tent, or light a fire, you can park your motorhome where regular cars are allowed to park. The Park4night app is very useful to consult during your trip. We are always at your disposal to assist you with suggestions and reservations for camper stops and organized campsites according to your preferences.     If I rent the van for more than 7 days, do you offer any discounts?

    Do you offer campervans for sale with the same aesthetic?

    Certainly! We undertake the entire process of building a campervan exactly as you have dreamed it.     Can I drive with my motorhome abroad?

    It’s very likely. Please get in touch with us regarding your travel plans, and we will inform you if the insurance coverage we provide includes or if we could find new insurance coverage for you with an additional charge.

    Is smoking allowed in your campervans?

    Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our campervans.
